Cornucópia is a work executed by the association of a stripped and anti-formalist knitting technique with freestyle felting. In a radical break with the monumental dimensions of my previous work, I tried to focus efforts on an imagery construction that deals with the seriousness of the topic of ocean conservation and the problem caused by human waste in these biomes. The chosen path is that of a simple and pop language with reference to Greek mythology, specifically in the visual manifestation of a cornucopia, which is used as a symbol of the economy. Another layer of meaning is attributed by the myth of the cornucopia, which would have been a horn of the river-god Achelous, son of the Ocean and Thetis, ripped out by Hercules during a fight and exchanged for the horn of Almathea. The color scheme alludes to the intense contrast that is characteristic of classical Greek pottery.

Cornucópia é uma obra executada pela associação de uma técnica despojada e anti formalista do tricô com o freestyle felting. Em uma rutura radical com as dimensões monumentais de trabalho anteriores, busquei procurei concentrar esforços em numa construção imagética que lida com a seriedade do tema da conservação dos oceanos e do problema causado pelo lixo humano nestes biomas. O caminho escolhido é o de uma linguagem simples e pop com referência à mitologia grega, especificamente na manifestação visual de uma cornucópia, que é utilizada como símbolo da Economia. Outra camada de sentido é atribuída pelo próprio mito da cornucópia que teria sido um chifre do rio-deus Aqueloo, filho do Oceano e de Tetis, arrancado por Hércules durante uma luta e trocado pelo chifre de Almateia. O esquema de cores faz alusão ao intenso contraste que é característico à cerâmica grega clássica.
