Stork is a work partially executed according to an experimental technique that I named freestyle felting. The technique consists of destroying strands of acrylic, animal or polyamide wool, whose main characteristic is the absence of a base for its construction and which evokes the sensation of weaving directly from dreams and ideas. Another interesting technique I used in this work is the use of fire as a plastic element, changing the composition and sculptural possibilities with acrylic wool. Inspired by the color structure present in the wings of birds such as herons and flamingos and in how it manifests itself visually, I sought a working methodology that attacks the bases of chromatic and structural formalism, so that unexpected results and plastic accidents be incorporated into a harmonious whole. The intention is to push the textile material to the limit through the physical destruction of the materials, by their reconstruction with a violent method and exposing these materials to forces such as combustion and gravity, in order to produce new textile sensations.

Stork é uma obra executada, parcialmente, de acordo com uma técnica experimental que nomeei freestyle felting. A técnica consiste em destruir fios e mechas de lã acrílica, animal ou de poliamida cuja principal característica é a da ausência de uma base para sua construção e que evoca a sensação de tecer diretamente dos sonhos e ideias. Outra técnica de interesse que utilizei nesta obra é a utilização do fogo como elemento plástico, alterando a própria composição e possibilidades esculturais com a lã acrílica. Inspirado pela estrutura de cor presente nas asas de pássaros como as garças e os flamingos e em como ela se manifesta visualmente, procurei uma metodologia de trabalho que ataca as bases do formalismo cromático e estrutural, de modo A que os resultados inesperados e os acidentes plásticos sejam incorporados em um todo harmónico. A intenção é puxar o material têxtil ao limite por meio da destruição física dos materiais, pela sua reconstrução com um método violento e expor estes materiais a forças como a combustão e a gravidade, para produzir novas sensações têxteis.
